Creative Corners
Aim
Creative Corners was an exercise undertaken of my own accord. During the summer break, I set myself a goal: to improve my rendering skills. Initially, my rendering abilities were adequate but not exceptional, and I wanted to elevate them. Therefore, I knew I needed to put in the work and practice. Thus, I conceived Creative Corners, a series of renders showcasing corners within a home.
Process
Creative Corners was a task I created to challenge my abilities and push for improvement. I believe that growth comes from placing oneself in uncomfortable situations. You cannot improve if you remain comfortable and unchallenged. Thus, I challenged myself with the following tasks:
Concept and Ideation Research
Rendering
Outcome
Creative Corners successfully enhanced my skill set and taught me to embrace discomfort. As my desire to improve grew throughout this process, so too did my ability to tackle new tasks and learn new skills independently. While these creations were primarily skill-based, each concept was rooted in the idea of transforming spaces into extraordinary experiences, offering both functionality and beauty.
